The Lorna Doone Hotel is a small, friendly, licensed hotel and highly acclaimed restaurant, specialising in freshly cooked, quality local ingredients. Situated in the centre of Porlock, all rooms are en-suite, individually furnished and each named from the famous romantic novel written by R. D. Blackmore.
Dogs are very welcome in most rooms whilst some are allergy free. The hotel is on the Trail and the owners are happy to organise transport for guests to and from other parts of the Trail.

The Ship Inn, known locally as the Top Ship, is one of the oldest inns on Exmoor, with roaring log burners in the winter and a large outdoor seating area for the summer months. We have ample bar and restaurant space and pride ourselves in offering great service and serving a varied selection of homemade meals and snacks.
